Taken at the Museum of the United States Air Force at Wright-Patterson AFB, Dayton, Ohio.
Raptor 003 holds the distinction of being the only F-22 on public display, though it is heavily stripped of classified equipment. The aircraft is the only Block 2 F-22, and was part of the test fleet out of Edwards AFB, which comprised of Raptor 003 to 009 at the time of service.
The aircraft was removed from service and retired after a 11.7g maneuver resulted from an control glitch, compromising the airframe. The aircraft was taken to the museum, painted to represent an active duty aircraft from Langley AFB and put on display.
