It's been a while since I posted, mostly because I haven't had anything new to post. (That'll change soon, though!) However, today I realized that there were three characters of mine that I hadn't mentioned here yet: the ones I created for  foxlover91 and his Kahuna Thrill-Riders project.

For the uninitiated, the Kahunas are an ever-growing group of friendly, fun-loving furries who live near Swirly Cove in Shallow City, a coastal town in Southern California. These benevolent, barefooted beach bums divide their time between surfing, running various seaside businesses, partying, and saving the world from Big Meany, a corrupt but bumbling tycoon who wants to take over Swirly Cove. I fell in love with the Kahunas, and when I suggested these characters to Foxy, I was thrilled when he accepted them into his world. But enough with the intro, here's the first character! RHONDA WILDCAT
The Surf Rocker
Rhonda is a surfer and musician who gives her all to anything she does, whether she's "hanging six", rocking out, or partying. She can be described as intense, but in a friendly kind of way. The child of two musicians, one of whom also worked as a rock critic, Rhonda has an encyclopedic knowledge of music past and present.

Rhonda came to Shallow City to check out its gnarly waves, active music scene, and overall coolness. She soon met up with the Kahunas, who recognized her as a kindred spirit -- as well as someone who knew enough about surfing to work at their Riptide store -- and invited her to join the group.

When she's not surfing, working, or hanging out, Rhonda is a singer and guitarist in the Kahunas' band, Paws n' Claws. Her favorite electric guitars are the Vox Wildcat (with a "c") and Epiphone Wildkat (with a "k"). She'll also switch to keyboards when her bandmate Jenny Rabbit sings lead. And yes, she's named after the Beach Boys song "Help Me Rhonda".
