Lately, instead of drawing a rough sketch and then drawing a new set of clean lines on top of it, I’ve just been cleaning up the original messy lines until they’re neat enough to serve as the final lines.

I have a hard time drawing smooth, neat lines on a tablet, so tracing a new set of lines over the originals often got frustrating. So I figured that since the lines are already in the right places in the rough version, I might as well just reuse them. Just gotta carve off the excess.

Doing it this way is time-consuming, but I’m happy with the results so far. The lines seem smoother and thinner than my previous tablet-drawn pictures.
