I have to put edible things away because otherwise mine would eat a lot of things, especially meat and cheese.
sometimes i have to beg him to eat my yogurt and he's like hmmm.. naah
If I offered mine yogurt or most other desserts that include milk like vla they are all over it. They are not so aggressive that they would defend it but they are definitely very unhappy if I should take it away.
They already come peeking when I have some myself, trying to climb onto me to get close to my bowl.
On another note I really should play more with my own cats, I sometimes feel that I fall short on that one as a pet owner.
Maybe you can teach them some tricks, and give them yogurt when they do it right, I think that’d be fun!!
All cats are different though,, they might not need playing a lot, my dad’s cat was more into just chilling and watching everyone
I would probably be able to teach them some basic tricks should I take the time and repeat it often enough. Rather it is I myself who has to take the effort :)
My cats are playful when I take a shoelace and make that move across the room and over the chair and couch in my living room. They may occasionally stop chasing it but they will still lunge out at it when it comes near them or they try to ambush it by hiding behind something.
That would be cool if you taught them to bring you something lol
Ooh yes!! My cat loves this too, I have a couple of his toys tied to strings and like even when I'm not playing with him I can sometimes see him gently tapping those hoping they'd move lol
