Well, and the secret's out. This is the "big secret project" I've been working on for weeks and weeks. Oh boy. A comic.
Anyway, to introduce you to the topic: I decided to follow the stories of a superhero group called the New Exiles. The original series ran 18 issues + extra stuff, which isn't much, but still, quite enough for me to fall in love with (the first and third storyarch being the top), especially with the characters.
The book got cancelled and the team put on hold and eventually replaced. But I'm growing to miss those guys. So aside writing fanfictions, I decided to take a more... professional approach. But basically, I just want to say the authors of the original book they did one hell of a job :)
After a bit of thinking, I decided to upload it to FurAffinity as well, since the story is partially furry... in a way.

Nice!
I enjoyed the Exiles books. They were a great playground for what –if-sceneries (and they featured Blink and Sabertooth from AoA ^_^), but lost a lot of drive after the first couple of arcs.
Seeing this furry-approach now, I wonder why none of their writers ever come up with an idea of that kind.

(Because none of the Marvel writers is a furry :D )
I was never hooked to the Exiles books until about issue 80 or something like that. I really loved the "funerals" issue. And after that, when they removed the most annoying piece of the puzzle (Timebroker really got on my nerves and it wasn't just because he looked like Joe Quesada), I started reading regularly. But I fell in love with the characters when Chris Claremont came and took over the series. So, in the Exiles timing, I'm pretty much a newbie fan :D
