To be fair, one notable exception does come to mind. TLDR version is that a trial among the Big 12 at Olympus determined (and apparently this was a law among the Greeks as well) that a father had the right to bump off anyone who (ahem) violated his daughter. Other than that, though, the Greek myths were mostly characterized by the rule that whoever had the power made the rules, end of story.
