Sadha - The Red Princess [Fanart]
"I swore I could see him someday, appearing in the corner of my eyes, as silhouette against the horizon, the man in my visions; my soulmate, spouse of the sun, the Red Prince! The people in the house of dreams confirmed them to be the prophecy of ages, that I and he, we would find together and from our bond, we shall bring great change over the world, revitalize our kin with the flame of dragons.
It is true, I can feel it. Magisters from Fort Joy carry rumours of a red lizard so it has to be him! I have faith that we are nearing each other, and despite we haven't even met, I know, that he feels the same way. Oh how the anticipation draws me away from camp... I cannot risk it. They would not allow it. All I can do is hope that he will arrive soon... for the presence of the divine is fading."
Since The very first day of the year, I had the pleasure to sink into Divinity: Original Sin II and from the first moment, I noticed the immeasurable fun I had with this experience. A sense of adventure like only a few games can convey. I got enticed in its story so that I almost felt as if it was my own the entire time. It had me empathize with many characters, among the very sensual meeting with my significant other. It definitely was one of my favourite moments and I felt the need to show a sign of appreciation by drawing it.

Awww well thank you so so much, my dear Max'l ^v^ Although I wish you were fully precise with your assumption, I don't always improve on my last project, but I sure as hell try every now and then :3
Also, I think you just want to see wigglers everywhere, don't you? ;P

I just finished The Red Prince's companion quest, and having played the entire quest, I can safely say that I made the right decision going with him. Yes, there's a bit of a love triangle, but the connection is so close that it doesn't even feel like your character is secondary to Sadha in any way.
I feel a lot of people misinterpret his dedication to finding Sadha as him looking to you as secondary, when honestly, it didn't feel that way in the slightest. Love comes in a lot of different ways, and I appreciate the game for having the guts to do something different from a fairy tale ending.
The fact that you stand toe-to-toe with the literal woman of his dreams destined to usher in an era of his rulership... It says a lot for your relationship with him. If anything, I get the impression that his relationship with Sadha is just a matter of course. Not to doubt his feelings for her for a second, but it's also not really something he thinks about. Your character on the other hand, you went through everything with him, with every ounce of your relationship tested.
Hell, in my scenario, I literally didn't even have to persuade him to let me become Divine. I was already at 100% with him, so it actually added a dialogue option that you smile to him and know he has your back. That is fucking AWESOME.
Anyway, thought I'd share that. Wonderful artwork. It's my pleasure to watch you if this is the exemplary material you put out!

Aww thank you so much for that wonderful insight to your story ^v^
I completely played as the Red Prince himself and so I had no other primary characters. Although I would have guessed my entire party would turn against each other near the end as to who should become the new divine.
It definitely was an experience. And once I met Sadha the first time, I longed to free her from the assassin's grasp and overcome her capturers. But heck, it was a huge deal when the prophecy was delivered to me. If the dragons really would return, it would bring the race of lizards a big threat as was proven in the past. It was breathtaking in the end when I stood in front of Sadha with a fresh set of eyes, knowing if I were to mean the best for the kin, I would have to be with her and ignore the threat or kill her and my own offspring to ensure the time of my reign will last for a long time.
Rarely did a choice bite me so hard than in dos 2 but sadly, it doesn't matter as to what the outcome will be, that was kinda the bummer in the end.

Oh my gosh it really brings back the memories! Happy you found it again after so long :3
But yes what an acquired taste! she really sparked a fire in me too, and really the entire game did it for me ^v^
Sadly there really isn't much art of her to find, sadly...
