Jua could barely believe his ears.

“You what?” He snarled lowly, looking his ‘king’ up and down in a shade of disgust

“I told you. I won’t take part in this anymore. I’ve fallen in love with Kiara-!”

“Our enemy!” Jua corrected Kovu with a roar.

“You will get this foolish idea out of your head. You have one mission. Don’t make Scar regret choosing you.” Jua spat as he turned away from Kovu.

“You won’t tell mother... will you?” Kovus voice was small, he even looked like a shamed cub as Jua looked at him over his shoulder.

“Zira won’t be told... as long as Simba is taken to the trap at dawn.” And with that, Jua left the king-to-be standing sheepish and alone.

Fury swelled within Jua.

Kovu could ruin everything... for ‘love’.



So Jua has joined Zira in her plan to retake the Pridelands due to sharing the similar goal of killing Simba.

But Kovus growing affection for his targets daughter could ruin everything for them all.

Jua will be keeping close watch on his king-to-be from now on...
