Jericho is a young man living in a world where humans and dragons are mortal enemies. Regardless, he has always been fascinated by the powerful, beautiful creatures and has even dreamed of being friends with one. One night, when an overeager dragoness named Katla decides to raid his farm, the youth might just get his chance...
Just doing a bit of housecleaning, putting old, unfinished, and likely never to be finished writings (mostly RP's) online. I'll move this to Scraps later, but it's a nicely written story for all that it doesn't have an ending lol. It's a bit of a slow burn, like some of my other RP's and the weight gain is very mild compared to my other stories, but that's Zaxie's preference, so I was happy to indulge him.

Darn, it's a shame the story ended where it did. It was really starting to get interesting. Despite how short it was, I really liked the mannerism and dialogue the dragoness had. She really felt like a dragon and not just some human personification.
I'm actually a little intrigued by the shakespearean language she uses. I've always wanted to learn how to write dialogue like that. How did you go about it?

This was written some time ago, but I vaguely recall doing research on the correct grammar for Shakespearian English, just to avoid making a putz of myself with writing Katla lol. Also, you have an interesting definition of "short" in this context. I was rather assuming more people would give up reading this entirely before the abrupt end XD Still I'm glad you were able to enjoy it for what it is. I have several more unfinished RPs that are fun reads even if they lack an ending.
Aw, thanks a lot. I'm happy that people seem to be enjoying these older and unfinished RPs. I spent considerable time writing them after all, but have held back so long either because I thought my partner would come back someday or because I thought that people would be too turned off by the lack of an ending to enjoy what's there.
