The seventh in a series of pencil sketch fanart pieces I did for an online survivor-style writing contest I'm following called The Emperor's Decree II. This is Pleasantrie (a.k.a Pip), a woodlander mercenary for the Southern Army. Pip, a Eurasian Golden Plover, suffers from being a very scrumptious little snack to any vermin who lays eyes on him. Luckily, he has Papers (as he's showing the piccy) that prevent others from eating him. There would, after all, be Serious Repercussions for such an indecent act.
