After being out due to college work to complete, I have returned with a new PCA character! Looking for a new pokemon to draw, I found one that was colorful, but also had a pokedex entry that interested me like Snover did, which inspired Reina.

Born into one of the wealthiest families in Sootopolis, one of the first things that she was taught as a child was to be ready to stab someone in the back in order to get ahead and to never take off her shells, meaning to never leave yourself exposed. Among the wealthiest of the underwater aristocracy, the Vendiata family were the most famously known for getting revenge on anyone who wronged them. They were all taught the family form of fencing and always knew how to pierce the heart of their enemies.

Fluerette originally did not want to go to the Poke Combat Academy, but all that changed after meeting a handsome young Lucario who intrigued her with his talk of "Aura". Depsite her parents not wanting her getting associated with those who cannot breath underwater, she snuck out after dark and learn the ways of aura from him. One night, the Lucario asked her to run off with him, but she turned him down because she was interested in aura, not him. It was then revealed that the Lucario's plot to elope with her was though up by her rival in fencing school Angelene Aquaphos, a female Kingdra, to bring shame to her family and that if the Lucario did not complete his mission, that they would kill him. The Lucario then tried to rape her and in the struggle, Fleurette stabbed him in the thigh.

Angelene appeared, furious that her plan fell apart and wanted to crush Fluerette with her own sword. She aimed for her chest, but the Gorebyss' shell shattered the Kingdra's shell. The many emotions she felt in that painful moment...the fear of being raped and losing her life, the sadness of learning that her friend was a fake, and the rage at her rival, unleashed in a wave of psychic energy. The force for her attack shattered Angelene's arm and sent Fluerette in a coma for three weeks.

When she awoke, she decided that she wanted to learn more about her newfound psychic power and enrolled in the PCA to become a professional battler. She uses the precise strikes she learned as a fencer in battle along with her quickness underwater to win her battles with speed and finesse. However, she never lets anyone get too close to her and just as her mother always taught her, never took off her shells.

...Wow, That was a lot to write. I guess I wanted a more detailed storyline for my second character and I hope you like her as much as you love Reina.
