We all know that Maple is trying her damnedest to become a successful wandering warrior, that’s her ideal profession and lifestyle. However, what some of you may not know is that while I was tinkering with her, I briefly considered mercenary would be a good choice for her (hence the punny title); however, I later decided to scrap the idea due to wanting to make her more of a rookie, and therefore inexperienced with the craft of combat. Remember when I pointed out that she is somewhat unsure of herself in battle due to being bit of a novice? Well I guess you can call this the “evolution” of her should she overcome her uncertainties and steady herself in battle. Raising her sword proudly, ready to battle all who challenge her! This was another Fantasy commission I got from JinandTonic on Weasyl (formerly on tumblr). I hope you all enjoy the brave new face we have here!

*TRIVIA: Maple’s current occupation is very similar to another character’s: the Apostle Soliana. However, there are various key differences between the two such as Soliana being apart of a guild and Maple doing things on her own. While Soliana is a veteran who fights for others, Maple is a novice who mostly fights for her own survival.
