So I've had requests to do this song so here it is. It's been a crazy week and I haven't had time to record much. I heard this song many times when my uncle played it with his Irish band but it has been popularized by the new Sherlock Holmes movie.

The trailer makes it look like a campy action film. It is very action-packed but still respectful to the source material, worth seeing. On the quick note changes, that's awesome that you said that. It's a mark of the Irish vocal tradition, kept alive by the folk songs and groups like the Cranberries. Their lead singer has some great leaps she pulls off with her voice. Unfortunately, it's not a technique supported by classical training.
Thanks for telling me about that group! They've got some cool music (I've only heard three pieces for now)
You pull the changes very convincingly, you have to learn some things yourself, for me it was the pressing down on the frets with enough force to play two notes on the same string while using one hand to make percussive sounds on the guitars body (like in the end of the promenade into the dawn piece) and quickly enough to actually be able to use it in music.

Hey! That'S my favourite irish folk song! :D
Great job. Really admirable, cuz this is INCREDIBLY hard to sing!
Special thanks at this point to "Nat&Tim" who have introduced me to that song.
