Okay time to tell you a little bit about myself, I am a lion species from Neptune. My mission was to fly to earth and study how humans and anthros coexisted with each other. To bring that info back home so we could better understand and even possibly allow travel by humans and anthros to our very own planet.

My species has the ability to copy genetics that closely relate to ours, so for instance mine is Lion. This allows me to change the way I look to better fit into my surroundings.

Except when I came to earth and tried to mimic their lions more closely, something happened and my body became split. One side with the natural brown and cream hues, and the other dark and starry like my original self.

My pilot I.D is Avo1370 I was a shuttle engineer on Neptune.

To break down my I.D. Avo is the first letter of each of my names. 13 is the Apollo 13 space shuttle that launched from space to travel to the moon. 70 is the year that the shuttle launch took place. My company Helixion, saw it fitting and might help if I had a earth name. Most of our Neptune names cannot be written or said by the human tongue, so which ever planet we shuttle too we tend to take a name from that planet.

I was given my coordinates upon leaving my home planet to make my arrival at the Houston Space station located on earth in a place called Texas.

All plans where set and double checked and I got the go ahead to shuttle off, but before I did I called for my trusty companion Infinity!! I can’t go any where without her. We have quite a journey ahead of us, billions of miles to travel in a decently sized shuttle occupied by an anthro lion and his over sized dog, good thing is she just likes to float around as a head. As we near earth I set it to auto pilot to get some food. While I am eating and half asleep I start hearing noises move around the cabin, figured it was just infinity walking around. Boy was I wrong when alarms starting going off all over the place, checking all the switches and which alarms are going off. I start looking around checking every nook and cranny, turns out Infinity of all things decided she wanted to pull out some filters and wiring cause she thought the filter was a chew toy stored away. The end result the alarms going off due to low Hydrogen being filtered in (we breath in a certain Hydrogen percentage on our planet), this can cause us to pass out as we were trying to transition to breathing pure Oxygen that’s on earth. My only thought left was to crash land on earth and acquire the correct LNA code I needed to adjust to living on earth as fast I could. My shuttle map told me I was over a stretch of land called Africa. In habites by natives and very many different kinds of animals, but lucky as it is the only animal I need was a LION!! And they happen to live on this part of earth. Infinity also need a CNA code from a canine in order to be okay, so I quickly found canines that lived on the land, found Hyenas and African Wild Dogs, located in Sub- Saharan Africa. So we headed straight there. Upon contacting the space center where I was suppose to originally land, discussing the situation that what had happen puts us in danger and what we need to do has to be done as soon as possible. Understanding they gave us the go ahead to land and contacted the correct people on this side of the world. In the mean time Infinity and I where tasked to track down and acquire the LNA and CNA codes we needed to inhabit Earth.

We set out on adventure very first time on earth with a very strict time crunch, the sights, sounds and colors are very different from Neptune. Colors looked crisp and without a blue hue to them, it was warm and sunny. We could hear animals far off, some deep rumbles others loud cackles. So we choose to follow them out and see what was making them all, we made our ways past creatures that where very large, grey, with long teeth. Others that looked like they could be felines, with spots and stripes. Past other grey creatures with horns on their faces. Sneaking past them all, I heard this long deep roar, deciding to follow it I realized I had seen this tan beast with a mane before in my research. I was convenced this is the creature I was looking for, same broad face as me, same type build , small ears, and a proudness about him. Getting closer not wanting to scare him or threaten him my LNA coder starts going off telling me the code I need is indeed from him. Being dark blue and covered in stripes that twinkle constantly I knew this was going to be hard as he was standing out in the open looking around, crouching low on all fours I treaded carefully towards him watching his every move until I was a few feet from him to be able to get what I needed. I look at Inifnity making sure she is staying where she is at, when I am happy that she is I go sneaking closer. As I near him even closer he seems to sense something is off and starts looking all around him, I freeze in my tracks cause there’s no avoiding his gaze since we are now both out in the open. And that’s when his gaze fell upon me and I knew I was going to be in trouble. But instead of the frightened ready to defend himself, I was greeted with a questionable look that was interested in what he was looking at. I was puzzled by this face as I was ready to have to defend myself. I twitched my head side ways in a confused look and when doing so my ears flopped and wiggled. This caught his attention and pure joy crossed his face. He wasn’t frightened of me at all and instead seemed quite happy to have found someone who could be his new best friend. I wiggled my ears again and he wiggled his back, I smiled in my goofy little way and he seemed as happy back. I wasn’t sure how I would be able to get the LNA I needed from him without me scaring him I decided I might be able to use it in a game. So I took it off and put it on the ground, watching his expressions he was unsure about the item but was still curious. I sat down and started patting it around with my paws, tossing it up and catching it. I did this for a little bit and gently slid it across to him, he jumped back from it still seeming unsure, he let out a small growl at it but realized what ever it was does not do anything until you touch it. He creeped up very slowly to it always eyes moving between it and I closely watching every move. I just sat very still wiggling my tail slightly with a smile on my face.

He was so close to it now he could almost touch it, he let his gaze fall from me to look at the tiny item on the ground sniffing it all over. All I needed him to do was tough it quickly and I would be able to pick up his LNA and hopefully communicate with him finally. He sniffed it a few more times and sat down with his head cocked to the side, I greeted him with another smile as I did a paw flick close to ground to hopefully let him know it was okay to touch it. He looked back down at it, slowly stretched out a paw and tapped it really quick and sent it towards me. When he did that he jumped a little cause the coder made a small noise indicating it got the LNA it needed for me. He looked at me watching me take the coder and punch in my I.D. Number which allows the LNA from

Earth to be able to transmite to me. I was then worried I would scare him off cause I was going to change in front of him and didn’t want to do that to him. I looked around trying to find a place to hide while my body adjusted and realized we where sitting out in the open. Making a defeated sigh I had no choice but to sit there and let it happen in front of him. I closed my eyes as my body started to change if he was t there when I opened them then I would understand. I felt warm all over swallowed into a big hug it seemed like, it was easier to breath, felt my body change to take a more lean form as they do but in a anthro state. My coder started making noise so I opened my eyes to realize what happened, half way through the change my coder malfunctioned. I picked it up and realized that my body was stuck mid change, I was half my natural Hexlion coat and half earth toned coat. I quickly looked around a su realized I would of been a even more weird site looking like a crag of color and way out of place stuck in between what seemed like two worlds now. Only to find him sitting a tad farther away still looking at me, I sighed happily knowing he stayed. I smiled at him and tried a very simple hello, his eyes widened and his mouth fell open. He and I where both shocked as we realized we understood each other now. And now I know why my coder was so special for us. Not only does it allow us to inhabit earth while we are there but also allow us to communicate with the varied many creatures around the world. Once he realized he was staring to long he quickly shut his maw and then like he was weighing what to do next, he nodded his head and greeted himself. Hello my name is Lerato! It’s nice to meet you stranger. He smiled with a smile so big it made his other features pale in comparison. I smiled back and greeted myself. Hello Lerato, I am Apollo. And I am most happy to have met you too!

And this was the beginning of a very amazing out of this world friendship that would last until eternity.
