About a few weeks ago, Vortex helped me to finally conquer my mental block with layers. No matter what I tried before for years, I couldn't understand them at all. When I started this picture, I was actually feeling really discouraged and stupid because I couldn't understand them, and...ironically...suddenly it finally clicked because of what Vortex sat down and taught me about them and I was finally using layers correctly^^ So...needlessly to say this is my first picture done with layers and it's of Koudo looking worried while Vortex comforts her and puts a wing around her to let her know it'll be ok, just like the real Vortex always does for me^^
