once uppon a time, there was a book full of stories and magical knowledge. but as time went by, more and more had been written in this book, and after many centuries, it came to life. from this day forward, the books only point in existence was to gather more knowledge. from the slightest little spell, to the most importand secrets of our world, it did not differ for the book. some people say, if you want the book to share some of those secrets and spells with you, you have to give it some of your knowledge in return... but it will choose what it will take from you, maybe all your memories before you where four years old, or your favorite food, your name or the reason why you seeked the book out, maybe even your whole life......
this is a character i'm working on for quite some time now. the basic idea for it, was to build it out of paperscrolls, but it looked a little bit to familliar to the astrales from world of warcraft. and out of nothing i drew this design, a body entirely made out of paper, with magical spells and untold stories written on his verry flesh. well, i hope you like it ^^

This. Is. Perfect!!! Its ironic really, I have my own idea for a 'knowledge entity' and yours hits all the right notes. The origin of this character could not be more ideal. A book that gained so much knowledge that it awakened on its own. The design is perfect as well: A living mass of the written word. If I was to point out a flaw or two. They would be that the torso could use a little more ornamentation and the arms and fingers are bit too defined.
