I think I prefer Micro, because I like the idea of miniature worlds under our noses, and I think they can slip more easily into stories than macro characters can.

it's not about it not making sense, it's about trying to make it logical without breaking the known foundations of our reality. aaand also not make it as cheap as "it's just a dream" or "we are in a computer".

no. i'm hurt by social stress due to my inability to interact within the norm and because of my hypersensitivity i blame myself or others for things that barely or haven't occurred as my overly analytical observations don't take into possibility simple... "lack of reflection"
frankly i'm just confused at this point... what am i even on about...

It occurs to me that if you had both macro and micro in a setting, you could have a whole city of micros who've literally built their community, houses, industry, and all, on the back of a single macro. And that's just based on the scale depicted here.

You aren't wrong. A little bit like the myth that Earth rests on the back of a turtle.
That could actually be a really neat idea for a story!
