I really don't know what it's technically called....This piece was done with the remainder of my 22g steel. I finally got creative enough and remembered that I was using a thin gauge of steel and could punch thru it with a nail, which took about an hour of drilling time out of the whole mix (which I'm happy for). The lacing is 16g stainless steel and that little black thingie at the top is a piece of leather where I connect it to my jacket with a safety pin. Mind you, this is my first attempt at making an actual armor piece, so I think it looks like crap. But, I learned some interesting things while making it. Prolly use it as a reference for future productions. :3
