Here's the last wip for my bell picture.
It's my hand holding a bell with my distorted reflection in it.. I hope you could tell.
I was wearing a tie-dye shirt and a tie-dye bandanna for some extra color in the painting.
I am hopefully going to be done with this project tomorrow and if I remember my actual camera you will see it.
For now the 3rd wip picture taken with my cell phone so it sucks for quality.
Oil paints
Previous 2 wips scrapped and this one will be when I upload the finished version hopefully tomorrow.

I love working with oils. They blend so well and stay wet forever so working with blending can take days and you don't have to worry about everything drying super fast.
It does take a lot of patience though and you have to step back quite often to make sure you're not muddying up colors due to overworking. I did that on the thumb which is why it's orange. D: I fixed it after I took the picture tho.
The hardest part is whites because the colors below the white are wet so it's hard to get white to actually be white without waiting for it to dry a little so it doesn't just mix with the colors.
I love it and suggest all artists give it a try or take a class(a real class not one of those Bob Ross ones, he did it wrong as apposed to how art schools teach) because even if you don't like it you learn a lot from the techniques used in oil painting.
It's interesting to work from dark to light since most other mediums work light to dark.
