I return the compliment. You allways give me such good ideas for a scenario to draw, so it is easy for me to work with all the infos and the input from your side.
Fortunately it is winter again here in Austria, so I had time to focus on this pic.
Hehe part of your trade infos inspired me to add this anthro Che Guevara. I thought it would be funny, since his photo stands fro rebellion as such^^

I imagine that Roberto and Murk might just be quite friendly and affable guys and don't really bear any grudge towards the soldiers despite being on opposite sides. They might in any case consider mistreating prisoners as wrong in principle though the soldiers might have heard all sorts of propaganda about the heinous rebels so naturally are nervous, though perhaps hoping they'll be okay while they wait to see if the ransom gets paid.
Though perhaps Roberto and Murk might want to make sure the captives are comfortable, with Murk perhaps noting that his soldier seemed a little tense and deciding to give him a nice backrub to ease out some of the knots in his muscles while Roberto adjust the wolf's ropes a little to make sure that they're secure without being too tight and uncomfortable, though sincerely apologising for accidentally tickling him with his claws.
I imagine that while they're waiting for the ransom the worse they might do is joking around with the captive soldiers and maybe being a little playful like 'interrogating' them with a little tickling or maybe Roberto popping his beret on the wolf's head.
Though by the time the ransom does come through maybe Stockholm Syndrome or Lima Syndrome has set in and everyone has ended up more or less as friends.
