My Drawing 11 class in November 20th, 2009 I was instructed to draw a picture and then redraw it on the back so when I trace it, the lead sinks into the board by adding pressure. Then I have to use "Pointillism" style to complete my assignment. I, for some reason choose to do something really complicated rather then the class chose like simple stuff.
I chose to do an Alien (aka Xenomorph) from Alien vs Predator. It was...the hardest task i've ever done in Art of any kind, literally. It took me 2 months to complete it, including the time taken to draw it in the first place. I was done in January 15th, 2010 *sweatdrop* but, I got 70/70 on my project so that's an A+ and trust me, I must of dotted 1 billion times.
Please if you must, comment it and favor it, I worked really hard and I appreciate even the smallest of interest you give for this project. This is the artwork of my life!
Had to dot it, if I even did a slight line or coloring, it'd count against me so it was all done by poking in ink with a skinny ink pen haha. I'm highly proud of my work however, and like barely is missing from it like some of the back tail and the spine thing, but nothing really missing it's all there. I personally love it and hope you do to since it's the best I could think of submitting on DeviantArt. God Bless you all ^_^

Holy cow... That's Pointillism? Freaking wow...!
I am literally blown away by this. Very skillfully done. I'd reckon the original line art/drawing/thing would have taken a lot of time and effort, but doing it entirely with dots and managing to shade it properly... This is pure artistic genius over here.
I'm glad you got an A+ on it, you deserve it.
Pointillism gives it this whole night vision goggles look. It's really awesome.
My favorite parts are the head and the tail thing. I don't know how you managed that, but they look like they're actually shiny and reflective.
The whole thing's like a photo.
... Phew, sorry. Got a little carried away by this awesome piece.

Yeah, it's a style of dottin in for coloring/shading which isn't used a lot as you can see why (takes forever)
You're to kind, I never felt more appreciated and I love your comment, thank you so much v_v! Yeah, if that wasn't an A+ idk what is haha.
Mine too, the head is shiny while the tail stands out. The trick to it is the less dots you do but simply not overdoing the "less ammount" of times you do so, you are making dark-to-light layers. It's tricky, but worth it.
No problem, I loved your comment all the way, God Bless you
