Here we have another addition to a fanfic chapter art collection. This time chapter 16 of the story “A New Dawn” gets the fresh lick of paint. I hope Metal Sonic has all his lug nuts tightened cause’ Rainbow Dash is coming in hot! I am sure an attack like this will leave a little bit of a mark. (Cover your motherboard Metal!) Sonic is standing right in the firing line as well but we all know that hero is willing to take the blow.
I am actually pretty proud of this image. In addition to looking cool it is pretty strong on a technical level. I attacked difficult angles and was greatly rewarded for the effort. I am very happy with how this one came out.
Gotta love all the special fx as well. Building on the one I produced in a previous commish, I have a robust Sonic Rainboom here. Combine that with some fire and shines and you have a few nice complementary pieces. Nothing is this image is truly over the top effects wise, except maybe the sun, so there is little in the way of eye distraction.
And there you have it ladies and gentleman, another fun commission is completed. As always thanks a bunch to my buddy for the repeat business.
