It was the spring of 1990. I was young and idealistic, still on the path toward graduation. Although I would doodle in my sketchbooks and notebooks and Engineering textbooks, they were just doodles.

I was in a clique of VAXers, folks who had personal accounts on a VAX 8600 computer cluster at college, and I'd adopted the handle [RABBIT], after a sub-clique of Winnie the Pooh fans, and Tigger was taken. Between that, and being near-obsessed with Roger Rabbit.

Fulton Fox was a random character I'd pondered for a comic strip idea that germinated that summer but never really went anywhere. It was "The Sound & The Furry" and lasted maybe 7 strips - As soon as I find the strips I'm posting them!
