well sometimes its nice to keep the authenticity or the image, its good to make your images seem like a human did them, not a computer, although i dont disagree with you :) i just like having it rough and human, instead of photoperfect ya know? :) great work anyway as i say and i wouldnt hesitate to use a program myself hehe, infact i do! great job !

Very nice and cute too. When I looked at this it did remind me of tani's work, or style, but you drew this on your own freehand is another nice thing it proves to yourself that you can draw:)
I would suggest sketching something out completely instead of drawing it out; I used to do that years ago and the pictures came out a little funky but nice.
I know of some tutorials that would be of great use to you for anatomy uses:)
