Coastal Soaring

Ya know, there are so many great ways to enjoy a beautiful summer day. Relaxing on the beach, exploring the coast, swimming, having a nice cookout, hiking... the list just goes on and on. But for Dexter, there's almost no better way to enjoy these precious summer days when you combine the three things he enjoys most. Glorious flight, thrilling adventure, and spending time with a good friend!

The steady tropical forest ambience is momentarily disrupted, as a loud, excited roar vibrates the forest for miles around. This booming roar coming from none other than the ever-adventurous Dexter, who couldn't help but unleash his excitement as he's whisked higher and higher into the infinite blue skies! Warmheart, who's holding the excited lion tightly to his chest, sports a confident smile; determined to give his friend a taste of what it's like to soar through the heavenly domain of the legendary, majestic creatures known as dragons. Once gaining enough altitude, the magnificent dragon levels off to present Dexter with a stunning view of the lands below, banking slightly to set a course straight for the coastline. Where far beyond, the soft seemingly infinite blue of the open sky collides with the glittering, dancing, darker blue of the ocean at that distant horizon.

Dexter was having so much fun experiencing the thrill of flight, his eyes darting from spot to spot below as he tries to take in as much of the glorious view as he can along the way. All the while Warmheart soars happily through the beautiful summer sky, with his double set of elegant gold and black wings spread out wide. Every once in a while the two would pierce the soft form of a pillowy cloud drifting through their path, immersing them in the cool misty structures that float effortlessly above these lands. Only to emerge from the other side moments later with a few laughs exchanged between them, before the mighty dragon gives a few flaps with those powerful wings to keep propelling them towards that fast-approaching coastline.

Dexter was just getting used to this ride of a lifetime, his chest vibrating every so often from joyous purrs in response to the warm embrace of the big dragon holding him tight. But once the two neared that magical border between the grand beautiful ocean and the flora dominated terrain of land, Dexter felt something. The once-tight grip that Warmheart had on him, keeping his upper frame-secured firmly to the dragon's chest, had loosened considerably. Still holding on, but now allowing the lion quite a bit more freedom. Dexter feels a surge of adrenaline as he spreads his arms out wide like they themselves were wings. The smile across his muzzle grows even more as his heart races, that amazing feeling of his arms gracefully slicing through the warm tropical air, and the swift breeze flowing through his mane causes his inner spirit to roar as it soars freely over the beautiful coast. And although Warmheart could only hear the lion's excited laughs and shouts mixing with the wind that rushes past his ears, his own smile grew as he could feel that vibrant roaring of Dexter's free soaring inner spirit...
