I would be more accepting if he was in the base game, or if he was part of Fighter Pass 2.

And... people are allowed to be happy for Byleth, but you can't ignore the fact that we have a bit TOO much Fire Emblem. XD

I mean we have more FE reps than Mario, Zelda, AND Pokemon... what the fuck.

Yoshi and wario do count and if they could temporarily make charizard its own character, then Squirtle and Ivysaur count as their own things too

Yoshi and Wario are registered as being from their own series. So, they don't count to me. XP

And I count Pokemon Trainer as one character. =P

Squirtle, Ivysaur and Charizard all have they're own move sets, and even if we don't count Wario and Yoshi, Mario still has 9 (i forgot Piranha Plant)

I know they have their own movesets.
But I still count Pokémon trainer has one character. I don’t see what’s wrong with that.

And oh yeah... I forgot about Plant too. XD
So Mario technically breaks even then.

I’m not preventing you from enjoying the characters. Don’t get on my case over nothing, please.

Also since Wario and Yoshi are technically designated as Reps of their own series, then technically they aren’t Mario characters. So, technically, it’s not my definition. XP

honestly, Byleth feels out of place considering the rest of the pass was 3rd party. If he was added say 3rd or 4th, then i think it'd have been less disappointing than it has been. Still, we have 6 new folks due in the future.

While I wasn't disappointed with the direct, I'm kind of shocked that fans were more mad than happy that we got another FE character as a fighter, despite it being the first Fighters Pass fighter from a first-party franchise.
