Heh, well, it depends really. I used 3 types of foam here.
1/2 inch for the ears, 1 inch for the rest and cut down in places and then 3 or 2 inch for the cheeks, with very little cutting down.
You can take the really thick, stiff foam and crave it though! It works different for different people. :D
