Hey noodle what did you do today?
Well I had a dream I was waiting in this long line and I saw the mayor of Chicago. I spit my gum at him and he shook his head disapprovingly, and I apologized. I said that I was caught up in the moment and I shouldn't have reacted that way. I then gave him a hug and listened to what he had to say. The line had something to do with space travel, and I think there were people settling off-world colonies.
I woke up at around 12:30 and roused myself out of bed. After grabbing my casual flannel I went upstairs and ate some cookies, then took my metal detector and, after covering the log splitter (A favor dad had me do on the way out), I grabbed some shovels and headed to my BFF's. We decided to try and hunt for treasures in his side yard, where an old school house was purported to be. Before the local elementary school there was one down the road behind the spot where Fast Eddies is now located, and before THAT one was around, there were a bunch of one room school houses...One of which was in my BFF's current side yard.
We learned about this as youngsters. While playing basketbol, Adam, Ralph, and I heard a meowing. We followed its source into the woods and saw a well sticking up from the Earth. Inside was a kitten, and we didn't know how to get it out. Luckily, later that evening, Adam's grandpa (who used to own the house) saved it, and told us it had once been the site of a school. Hecc!
We'd never explored it, but today we did! I manned the metal detector and my BFF followed me around. We didn't find treasures beyond measures, but we did find a lot of weird pieces of metal. I thought it could have been either a wood stove or a 1920s style mech, but when we took the pieces onto the porch to photograph them, Kristen said they looked like a sewing machine. Hecc...Smart!
We threw the pieces back beside the old well, then I went inside and watched a couple episodes of the Fantastic 4 cartoon that was made in 1994 (The episodes where the 4 recount an adventure with Puppet Master while on Dick Clark's show), then after I watched my BFF's kids play minecraft. The oldest decided to build The Thing in Minecraft, and it was just a stick figure (cobble frame with ornj sandstone) and 3 perpendicular fingers on each hand...So cute!
I was nodding off while they played so I roused myself awake and headed to Benton. It was a bit drizzly and warm, and reminded me of Spring. I went to Wendy's and got 4 Jr. Cheeseburger Deluxes and a conke. While waiting for my food I tasted the conke and it was diet, so they gave me a better one. I sat in the parking lot and ate, then drove to the liquor store for some alcohol. I got a couple boxes of wine for mum, then had to wait in line for a while. After the line went down, I was able to buy it and head home.
I went downstairs and did a bit of resume filling outing, then I went upstairs 'cause mum invited me to play Jenga. We played the dice version while watching Iron Man, but mum lost both times. I went back downstairs for a bit, then when I went back up around 11ish I could tell mum had been hitting the Mommy Juice. I was able to make myself a ham and turkey wrap with cucumber and swiss and mustard and fancy mustard and ranch, then I ate it with no problems...And it was only while trying to put my stuff in the dish washer mum started getting bitchy, so I just went downstairs.
When I was down there I just sorta did not much of anything. I did a bit of doodling, but mostly nuh! Relax. Eventually I went to bed around 4 AM.
I hope everyone has a metal detection day! <333
