12-22-19 [Post-Apocalyptic Life in the Shadow of Old Giants]
Hey noodle what did you do today?
Well I had a dream that I worked as a basic errand boy for this big animation studio, and I'd always hafta go to a local pizzeria to get the head-honcho's pizza, which consisted of 3 parts fetta cheese and 2 parts black olives on the thinnest crust available. While at a pitch meeting I suggested the premise behind my novel “Journey Across the Overgrown Earth”, and they liked it and agreed to give me 5% of the sales (They were a low-budget animation studio, I think). I celebrated by heading to Shop-o-Rama, then at some point I had to explore the urban caves beneath a cell phone tower.
Before I could do that, irl black kitty was pushing up against my face and being the friendliest kitty! I eventually woke up (around 2:30! Late!) and went upstairs for some leftover ham and mashed potates and turkey bits. My sisters had left at 8 AM (Alecia and Debbie) and 9 AM (Amber and Levi) respectively. After eating I headed downstairs and wrapped the books for my BFF's kids and my mum (Steven King's 1922), then I took the minecraft books over to my BFF's house.
When I got there Joey was there and we chatted a bit on the back porch while Adam and Kristen deep-cleaned some chairs they got from Adam's mum (Trying to get the smonk smell out). I told Joey and my BFF and Kristen about my acid trip, then while out there their dog Daisy ran around a corner as Griffin ran toward the house, causing her to NFL-style plow into him...Like he went into the air, but because kids are super bouncy, he was pretty okay!
He was in his dragon costume (so cute!) and his older brother Felix was in a Ninja Turtle outfit (adorbs!), but because Griffin apparently dun like clothes, he just stripped down to his undies and ran around the whole time as nearly-naked boy. They played some craftmines and ate some popcorn while BFF played WoW Classic on his lappy and Kristen headed to Walmart for last minute gift stuff. At around 6:30ish I headed out so he could make food, then made myself some ham and mashed potates and gravy and had some bananang pudding for dessert. I went downstairs and was gonna do some doodle, but wound up taking a nodl nap instead.
I woke up around 10:30ish and goobed off online, then did some sketches, then played some craftmines for a bit. Eventually I went to sleep around 4 AM.
I hope everyone has a BFF visiting day! <333
