12-13-19 [My Frand Sammy! :D]
Hey noodle what did you do today?
Well I woke up a little after noon because black kitty came into bed with me and snuggled, then I went upstairs after bundling up because I planned to walk around the new campgrounds!
...Except it was raining and cold, and I already had a bit of a cough. Hecc! Nevertheless I ate some cinnamon toast cronch, then an ornj, then I headed to Dollar Genital for a couple gallons of milk ($7.20). I headed back home and then dad said he wanted me to go to Shop-O-Rama for some 6 inch diameter pipes that are 2 feet long and a 90 degree pipe so we could fix the furnace. I was skeptical that I'd be able to find what he wanted, since it always seems I grab the wrong things when asked, but I relented and headed to Shop-O-Rama.
En route I called grandma, and I learned that she went out and about this morning and was going to dinner with Connie and Connie's nurse. While chatting I learned the end of Hiter Road has a dead spot, so note to self: Take the other route when on the phone. But I got back to good reception and grandma told me she was excited to go on her trip to Virgina.
When I got to Shop-O-Rama I saw they were working on the roof, likely adding some slanted roof thing. I went inside and found most of what I needed, though instead of a rigid 90, I had to get a flex one. One of the customers said he used one for his wood stoves and they're very good because you can rearrange them. I got the pipes and 90, then headed home. When I got back I went downstairs to help dad, but I was largely just sitting around. We did hafta move the wood stove a few inches to the right since it was too short for the pipes to reach the hole, and also it had somehow been moved left-wise.
During this I found myself sitting around, and when mum went back to the DVDs to search for the first Santa movie, I saw some of my high school yearbooks, so I decided to head upstairs and search through some of my old elementary books. I grabbed the 1993-1994 book, and saw myself in preschool...As well as my BFF, who looks exactly like his first kid! I was gonna go back downstairs but by this time black kitty was on my lap, and it's hard to move something so cute! When he did get up tho, I wanted to watch the Jeopardy that was on in the bedroom. I did pretty well, and by the time mum and dad came back upstairs I was just watching the final question (Which I got...It asked which fast food mogul complained about the speed of bellhops...I said McDonald.)
I headed downstairs and spent some time painting grandma's Christmas angel card, then when I finished I went upstairs and ate a bowl of chili and some chocolate chip cookies. I then went back downstairs on a full tum and kept the wood stove fires burning while I did a bit of goobing off online and typing and editing. I wound up heading to bed a little after 4 AM.
I hope everyone has a furnace-repairing day! <333
