Hey noodle what did you do today?

Well I had a dream that I was in a pokemon battle against that hardass from Season 1...You remember the one with a sandshrew and the dude had a circus? He was fighting me and one of his pokemon slept on his head and I thought it was his hair until it flew off and started fighting!

Anyway I woke up around 11ish and grabbed a shower and brushed my teeth, then I headed into town for some running about. I first headed to Wendy's and grabbed 3 cheeseburgs and a medium coke, which I ate in the parking lot. From there I went to Walmart (which was absolutely swamped!) and got some Slim Jim's for sister's hubby, then some ginger to make some tea for my cough...And also some Dayquil.

From there I headed to the Post Office for a package that was too big to deliver (shelves for my sister and her hubby), then I went to the barber. He was in the backroom when I arrived and I think I spooked him when he came back out to the front, but he cut my hair and we talked about the goofiness of modern art. After another spectacular haircut I headed home while listening to NPR's Sci-Fri, and they were talking about the Heliosphere...But as soon as I pulled into the driveway mum called and asked if I was still at Walmart, and I said nuh, the driveway. I went inside and she sent me back to the store for shrimp, and I was gonna take smol-dog Chloe with me but she didn't seem too into it so I went alone. I tried calling grandma en route to the store but I got no answer. Instead I listened to NPR as they talked about Slime Mold! Such a cool creature!

I went inside and got a couple of the smol disks of shrimp (they didn't have the big ones), then paid and headed back home. I made a ginger-broth tea, and it was actually pretty neat! A bit too hot, but when it cooled down and I added ice, it was like drinking spicy water! I went downstairs and did a little editing, then even wound up taking a smol nodl nap. When I roused myself awake I cleaned my birb cage and started doodling on a painting for my weeb-frand. He texted me and wanted to chat, and it turns out that his cousin, who is frand-Alex's brother, wound up committing suicide. They were all out of sorts, and so I promised I'd head over there the next day and bring drinks!

At around 8:45ish I went upstairs and ate a bunch of salsa and queso with chips, and also 3 Reese's, then headed back downstairs until about 9:40ish. Mum said my sisters and their mates were to be in at around 9:42, and they pulled in at exactly 9:42! Hecc!

It was good seeing everybody, and my bro-in-law and I hugged and chatted about books and science and stuff, then we gathered 'round and told stories and Amber showed us these band posters mum made for each of us when we graduated as seniors from band in high school. I didn't even remember these posters, but apparently Amber did because hers was so lackluster compared to ours. Talk about middle-child problems!

We had a good laugh and slowly wound down for the night, then I went downstairs around 12:05ish and did a bit of goobing off. I thought I would go to sleep early, but I wanted to edit my story, and I wound up getting through to about the 1/3 mark. I also searched Google for satellite photos of LBL in the winter (So I could see where the cedar trees were concentrated), but none seem to exist. I did learn about an abandoned bus in the woods tho, and that made me excited and want to visit it! When I went to bed, it was a little after 4 AM.
