Hey noodle what did you do today?

Well I dreamt I was visiting a hotel with my family, and it was a pretty swanky affair. When we got there things were normal for a little bit, then one of the hotel managers said they had a special treat: They'd captured a dragon from the nearby mountains, and were showing it off. I was beginning to grow a bit nervous, but thought "Okay, it's just another dragon. No big deal." I try talking my parents out of seeing it, but they really want to.

That evening we go to see it, and it's all caged up on the cliffs behind the hotel, but then the cage topples down to our level. I'm worried that it'll break, but the cage holds true. Instead, another dragon appears...A larger black dragon. Already I can feel it telepathically link with me, and I try to tell it to leave. While this is happening the people are just absolutely enchanted with it, but I'm backing away and taking shelter behind the stage they erected for the presentation.

Then all at once it lashed out at me, and I quickly turn into a dragon (noolde type, of course!), and rush toward the hotel. I don't wanna fight it amongst the crowd of people, as I know there'd be casualties. Furthermore I know it's not that interested in the crowds, insofar as it's not hungry.

Once inside I start crawling down an elevator shaft. I'm trying to make it to the basement where my friends are, but I can't actually take the elevators since the power's been knocked out. I get down to the ground floor, and I see my friend Ian. I tried to pretend that I'm some random dragon, but he's like "I know it's you Kyle. What's going on?" Apparently he'd known for a while?

I tell him what's happening, and he takes me out to the front canopy area of the hotel, where this large black woman is like "Come with me. I know where you can go for a while."

And I dunno what happened next! o:

I woke up around 9:10 (Alarm was set for 9:45) and after brushing my teeth I wrote out my dream and then headed upstairs, where I ate a bowl of Life cereal while Black Kitty tried climbing on my lap to steal my milk. Mum had a sign to pick up around 10:30, but she contacted the lady and the woman said she could pick it up from the front porch, and just leave the money in the mailbox or the door...The woman must be very private!

We left around 10, then headed up to Benton. I pulled into the house on Pine St. (There's 2 Pine Streets in Benton...This was the second one), then after mum picked up the sign and left the envelope of money ($56), I drove forward and figured out that the road came out at the split that heads toward Jesse's parents' house. I drove toward that direction since our next stop was the Tractor Surplus store. I looked around for a fire-poker set in there, but came up empty...And mum didn't find fingerless gloves for dad either! O:

We left and then headed toward Paducah, but swung by Lone Oak toward a store called Hearth and Home. They sold fireplace stuff, but only had 2 sets of fire poker tools, and those were both VERY expensive...Like $250 for one, and $650 for the other. Yike! We left, then headed to Lone Oaks Mall. We went in JCPenny and shopped around a bit. While mum was in one of the stores (A very Christmasy one) I went to Chic-Fil-A and got a medium Sprite, since I kept coughing and clearing my throat and having a hoarse voice. I did look around for jewelry for mum as well, but found nothing. Hecc! I returned to find her still in the Christmas store, then after we went to a puzzle store and got puzzles (Mystery puzzles for most people, but a Zion National Park one for me!), then after she went into a couple Dillards (There were 2 of them!), we stopped and used the bathroom then headed out and about.

From there we went to Kohl's, and the parking lot was filled with people who were bad drivers. Mum was kinda perusing the clothes, so I sat in the main lobby on my phone browsing 4chan, tho I had to hide it 'cause a normie woman sat beside me (Assuming she's a normie...Who knows, maybe she secretly browses too, lel). After that we walked over and popped into a Michael's to see if mum could find a string of lights for her Christmas village (some of them burnt out), but she couldn't, so we walked over to the next store, which was a Bed, Bath, and Beyond. Mum was buying a bunch of Christmasy stuff, so I had to be the voice of reason and keep her from going crazy.

After that I drove us toward the Pets-Mart, where mum got some gifts for the animals. While I was busy making fun of a chameleon (He was being statue-still, but I saw him!), my old band director appeared! It was good seeing him, and he asked me what I was up to and told me he wished me luck, but mum sorta meandered around 'cause she doesn't like talking to people she knows while in public. Mum's so weird!

We then walked to the Books-a-Million next door (Aunt Becky called mum while this happened), and I found a good gift mum could get me (A book full of biological organisms for only $50!), and she gave me a face mask I could get her. While checking out they asked if I wanted to buy a gift for a kid's present for charity, and I got a $11.99 Fortnite gun. Hecc, I hope those kids like it! <3

After that I drove us to Outback Steakhouse (Alecia called mum while this happened), and we saw a bunch of smoke from wood-fires in the distance, in a clearing in the nearby woods. When we got there I got a sampler platter appetizer, while mum got the coconut shrimp. I liked the fries and Bloomin' Onion well enough, but the Mac n Cheese bites just weren't my taste. For the main meal we each got 12 ounce Rib-Eyes and some asparagus, but she got a baked potate and I got mashed potates.

After we left we headed to Walmart (Amber called mum while this happened), and after going inside I went to the bathroom again. After, I bought some paints and a canvas and some brushes, then found mum meandering the store. She didn't find much of what she needed, and was happy to leave after checking out.

Our last stop was the liquor store, where she bought some Merlot and 6 IPA, then from there I drove us home! In Draffenville this jerk-truck wouldn't go fast enough to let me pass these jerk-slow-cars, so I had to miss my turn off and pull through the King Bros. Parking lot to get back home, but we finally made it back around 5ish. I went downstairs and spent time sorta lazing 'cause I felt a bit sleepy, then eventually I did a bit of doodling. I made some world-builds in the style of the biology book I had mum get me for Xmas, then after a couple of those I started on a commission for a frand, but he was super upset about getting pulled over by cops so I doodled a freebie pic 'cause the subject matter sounded like soooo much fun!

Eventually I wound up trying to go to bed around 5ish and so I took some cough syrup and let drowsiness wash over me.
