Here we have me engaging in one of my all time favorite activates, hawking, more commonly known as Falconry. I deeply enjoy nature a lot, and I have a great lover of birds - particularly the Raptor species (birds of prey) not to be confused with dinosaur's. I spent many years apprenticed to a Master falconer. learning how to care for injured wild raptors at a rescue facility deep in the Catskill mountains of New York.
Some of the captive bread birds where trained to hunt of all the ones I was able to train with, the one in this picture was my favorite. This hawk is called a Harris Hawk native to the deserts of North America, Mexico and quite extensively through out South America. Not as fast as a falcon or robust as an eagle, or silently deadly as the owls. This species of hawk hunts in groups and is very intelligent able to set up traps and drive prey toward its hunting partners.
