"HI, I'm Omochao!" @_@ "Did you know, 'Nack the Weasel' isn't actually a weasel?" "His name also isn't Nack*"

According to the character's original creator, "Fang the Sniper" as he is called in Japan, is actually a Wolf/Jerboa hybrid.
I only found this out last week, until then i had heard the half wolf part, but thought he was a Wolf/Weasel.
when i found out he was a Jerboa, it just made way too much sense haha.

So, i got a drawing tablet thingy for Christmas so i'm trying to get some practice drawing with it.
and have also been on a "forgotten" Sonic Character kick lately. so naturally i decided to try drawing one such character.

I don't know if i would call Fang/Nack truly "Forgotten" having been a recurring character in the Archie comics run until it's end. and making a cameo in Sonic Mania as one of Heavy Magician's illusions.
But I can't help but feel we may never see him in a future "Modern" Sonic game, and that makes me sad.

But yeah, pretty happy with how this drawing came out for how out of practice i am with drawing, and how foreign using a tablet is for me. hopefully the more i draw, the more I'll improve :)


*The character is named Nack in some western games, and in the comics (though the comics sometimes give him the moniker of "Fanged Sniper" to reference his Japanese name) In another fun twist and bit of little known trivia, Fang was originally going to be called Nack in Japanese, but when written/spoken in Japanese it sounds too close to the "Knuck" of Knuckles' name. so they changed it to avoid them sounding too similar and causing confusion. which then caused more confusion thanks to him having 2 names in the end haha
