I'm not sure what they are, but the plants that produce these berries are plentiful along the bike path that I ride every weekend. It was a cool morning when I shot this and droplets of dew are still evident on the fruit and the leaves.

I shot that photo back in October. It's been sitting in my queue since then. But I did manage to go riding twice last week thanks to some unseasonably warm temperatures. Sadly, the trail is not quite as picturesque in mid-winter.
