While Ael at his most basic (ie: me) is single, in some settings (primarily the Bamboo Bar universe), he is in a committed relationship with Melon. While my friends have drawn the two together in the past, I've yet to do so myself. Well, I figured it was time to rectify that since I was in the mood for an affectionate pic. Here, the two long-eared lovers shared a tender embrace. It could be morning, night, or even midday; all that's running through their minds is that they are with the one they love most, and that's all that matters.

I need to find a mate, but I hope she loves furries, peace, music, fantasy stories, and dancing. I think
dreamsong would be a perfect match for me. Who is Dreamsong? Have you noticed those ads here on FA for the 2010 Fursuit Calendar ("Arabian Dreams")? Have you seen the cheetah in the pictures? That's her. I watched her dance in the Fursuit Competition Finals at Anthrocon last year and I loved it so much (I actually wrote about it in my AC 09 Travelogue). Her dancing style was that of utopia: non-agressive, flowing, blissful, liberated, and carefree. Someday, when I finally get a fursuit made for me (and get in shape enough that I would look good in one), I would love to dance with her. We could get lost in the music together and feel it swim through us as if the whole world was happy to have us here. I've also read her journals here, too, and she writes in such a tender style. That's the kind of personality I would love to see in a lady. I think she would also love ambient music; I know she loves trance (I even wrote a song inspired by her which acknowledges that). She even says so in her profile that her favorite music is "Ambient Trance." Don't know if the two are separate or together or both. I'm a big lover of ambient music as well as an avid collector, especially of the rare, out-of-print music.

I think I forgot to tell you this about dreamsong It's also something I'll have to consider in the long run if I want to love her. There's a rumor going around that... Oh, God, I hate to say it because she might be able to find it if she ever comes back to FA... there's a rumor that a man named 
timothyalbee is in the Dreamsong fursuit and is operating her FA account. In fact, all I ever saw her wear was the fursuit. It was written on this man's WikiFur article for some time and then it was removed. I looked at the editing history and the reason the Dreamsong part was removed was "removing inaccuracies." I don't know what that means, the best it could be is that a female relative, maybe a niece or a daughter, is now wearing the fursuit and not him. I really hope that is the case and that this relative can dance and love like the Dreamsong I know and love.
But, still... She said she uses sign language in her suit, and that either means she's clinically mute or that Timothy is in the suit. She even refers to Timothy, who is said to be a twospirit, using words such as "shi" and "hir."
I want to tell her how I feel and get to know her better, but she has been inactive on FA for over a year and I can't find her anywhere else on the internet. And, I still need one thing answered: Is this silent woman-possibly what she appears to be? The whole relationship depends on it. The man-woman ratio in the furry fandom is high on the man side according to Mom. If Dreamsong is a woman, then I can love her. If she is a man, or worse bisexual, I can't love her. And if I can't have her as a partner, then I... CAN'T... HAVE... ANYONE!!! That's all!

Don't fret too much on it, though. Things like that tend to happen on their own time, and I've often heard it's better to just let things happen than go out and speed things up personally.

Well, I actually found someone who made an art trade with her at a furmeet in Virginia.

A waiting game? It's been a month and I still haven't gotten an answer. I don't think there is anywhere else I can look. She's not on LiveJournal or anything. I actually made a posting in the FA forums and someone called me "really fucking creepy" for what I wrote (saying things like "Dreamsong is the Divine Feminine") and about 25 other people agreed to her post. So no one helped me there, or maybe they didn't want to help me.
Timothy Albee is just as missing as Dreamsong is as well. He, too, has been inactive on FA for a year. He said that he wanted to be away from the internet for a while and he was going to stay with Dreamsong to heal. That's what his last journal said. Dreamsong's last journal was about her laptop being "bricked."
