I take it the whiskers and the dark gray stripe of fur down the top of the nose is new? (Forgive me if I'm wrong, I only took a quick look back through your gallery ^^;) I think it looks good. Still the same welcoming and calm expression, with just a bit more catty-ness added in. Definitely more like a tiger but still cute. :D

Wow! It's amazing how when I first looked, I didn't notice the change. You're such a fasntastic artist, that you can incoroprate new animals into your drawing, and they look natural. I did like the old Jake as much, but this one could quickly grow on me. How does your mate like the new look? I bet you could even draw him as a cobra, and he'd still be awsome.

Hmm you look a little plumper (in a good way XD) the wiskers add a sense or feeling of your either older, grown up a little or too lazy to shave (i am always number 3). Also i know something is drawing me towards your upper facial region either its the new coloring on your ears which looks pretty cool, those big gorgeous eyes, or possibly that hair that looks fun to be ruffled. Very nice overall I like : )
