I ended up liking the preview image I created for my Lion Guard Fan Theory https://www.deviantart.com/vexvamp/.....eory-813085283 enough to post it separately at full size. The screenshots and background are from the show and not drawn by me, but I did draw Kion (with the help of a pose reference from TLK 1 1/2) and obviously edited everything together. I tweaked Kion's design a bit, making his mane a little less bright and changed out the light lines for darker ones. I also simplified his leg spots and added the birthmark which was his inspiration for the 'Mark of the Guard' in my fan theory. I tried to include signs of his illness, including the hollows under his eyes and ribs showing through. Originally his cheeks and hipbones were also going to be showing, but it ended up looking too cluttered. It took me awhile to get the dream-like look and really make the screenshots blend with the background, but I'm actually really happy with how it turned out.
Background and Lion Guard screenshots belong to Disney and were only edited together by me.
The drawing of Kion and editing of the final product were done by me, and you are not permitted to steal, trace, copy, reference, or otherwise redistribute them in any way. I also do not want to see this posted on RP sites, Facebook, YouTube, etc. That's still art theft.
