Dynamaxing in Galar falls under strict rules. Any and all Pokemon who participate in Dyanmax competition are required by law to use a Dynamax Band. The Dynamax Band acts as a "power inhibitor" of sorts, designed to keep the Pokemon's mind stable while only allowing the Dynamax effect to last for a short while. While it is possible to Dynamax without a band, a Pokemon who does so is the equivalent of a rampaging monster, as they will lose control of themselves and can't transform back to themselves unless subdued.

The Galar Gals are a group of rather large girls who seek to exploit Dynamaxing in competition by training themselves to master the power without using Bands, allowing them to hold the size for as long as they wish, without being restricted by a Band.

Yes, it's not permitted, but you try stopping a bunch of girls averaging about nine or ten feet in size.

Description: Lucerne's and Jemisha's other childhood friend with quite an attitude. Ianira brings about a presence that she intends to make own at all times, as she takes much satisfaction in providing everyone's ears with her soothing bass waves after strenuous Band-less Dynamaxing. The sound of her own vibration cords keep herself under control even while Dynamaxed, as it both sounds good and feels good (especially considering where they are on her body).

GameFreak, I'm impressed. You took rock music, a genre I greatly enjoy, and frogs, a cool animal (at least, I've been told it's a frog) and manifested it into an absolutely cool Pokemon and my new favorite Electric type.

I like both forms of Toxtricity, but I like Low Key slightly better for the colors. Purple on electric blue just looks so chill.
