I'm surprised I actually got this done on schedule. Maybe I can really do this, for a little while at least. Of course, school is gonna come first but hey, at least I'm even posting at all!

I like how the painting came out WAY better on this one! I think something like this is how it's gonna go moving forward for these, and maybe even my other art. I'm trying to get to a "messier" painting style, since I really like how that looks. I've always blended stuff in so much when it comes to painting so I have to adjust to it and just train myself to leave a brush stroke and not smooth it in to hell. I've done some rough painting in the past with grittier brushes, but this is the normal brush I use for the Scales X Smash Ultimate series, so it's nice to see I can get close to the result I'm looking for with it.

Anyway, hope you guys like this. I'm super proud of how this turned out. Took about 4 hours from start to finish, including all the different trial and error sketches and trying too many different backgrounds. Typhlosion is quite simple though, so it's hard to tell if 4 hours will be the sweet spot with these or not. Certainly better than 35+ for the Scales ones.
