I had a really terrifying childhood. My biological mother is a sociopath with a pathological inability to accept blame. So, understandably, I used to fantasize a lot about if Gadget was my mom. I'd be a little fox and she could invent something to shrink me down to mouse-size. To me Gadget was a perfect opposite of my 'real' mother; unselfish, caring and, above all, honest.
