Since i'm an idiot that likes that "nomen omen" stuff, the original greek version of the name (here latinized) is Polyxena which literally means "she who entertains many foreigners"/"hospitable", in the original myth she was claimed by Achilles and since Achilles was killed she (obviously) had to be sacrificed on his tomb. Because apparently for greeks raping (by a ghost in this case 😅) should be solved by killing the victim. You know. Famed ancient greek logic at work here.
