First drawing of the year and is the great Janos Audron!! I’ve suffered making those wings, I swear… ok, analisis time:
Janos Audron is the last of the ancient vampire race in Nosgoth, the only one not to fall into despair for the curse placed on his people, the survivor of the decimation of his race by human hands and a faithful, loyal and patience man with a duty to stand vigilant and keep the reaver safe until his destined champion appears to claim it and save Nosgoth. Janos was the one who gifted vampire’s followers with vampirism to ensure a way for his race to survive. He is a character that is no different as he shows: he is kind, wise, patience and someone who can be trusted and is willing to sacrifice himself to ensure the safety of others and the fullfilling of the profecies. He is too a mellancolic one, sadened and isolated as much as possible from the humans that have vilified his image and legend, yet he doesn’t hate them, as he estates “They don’t understand what they’re doing. They are simply unenlightened… and vulnerable to manipulation.”
This is one of the most heartwarming characters ever to be created and you take an instant liking to him.
