The second finished piece from my latest batch of commissions. ^.^ The background color for this one was hard to pick, mainly because the main characters had such different color themes already. >.>; I hope this sort of muted forest green doesn't hurt anyone's eyes.

I am quite proud of how Tayne's mane came out. X3 It looked, as I colored it, almost like stained-glass. Which was pretty awesome. However I need to figure out how to do metallic surfaces. x.x That gold on his wings took me forever to figure out, and then I ended up hiding almost all of the work I did anyway. *facepalm!* Oh well! At least it looks semi-presentable. I doubt I could improve it much, at the moment, so there it is. Still learning, hopefully still getting better! :D

These characters have been a favorite couple of mine for.. uh.. ages. XD So when Caco told me that I could pick from a huge list of characters for her commissions, I jumped at the chance. <3 And then I decided they needed to be arranged in the classic heart-shape. :3 What? They're so cute!
