Rory the emotional support corgi is a wholesome friendly floof I made to help with grounding skills during times of worry, anxiety and stress.
When I am feeling very anxious, something that helps ground me is tapping each of my fingers and thumb together, one at a time, and repeating a phrase that reminds me to be present, like Rory demonstrates here in my drawing.
I tap my pointer finger and thumb and say "I" and then I tap my middle finger and thumb and say "am" then my ring finger, saying "here" and lastly my pinky finger and thumb and say "now". I am here now.
You can use any phrase you want that helps you feel more grounded and you can repeat the tapping as many times as you need. It works the best for me if I match each tap and word with each breath I take too.
I hope to make more helpful doodles about anxiety and panic disorders based on other things that help me. :)
I hope you like him.
