i didn't remember their individual names but i remember watching them. i was in my 20s in the 70s and i don't remember if they were 70s or 80s when i saw them.

Rick Raccoon was my favorite.
Too bad they didn’t have a mongoose!

Rick was my favorite too, I had the Raccoon Rec Club when I was in 1st grade, we based ourselves on Rick Raccoon lol it was a great time lol we used the brown paper towels and made masks by biting holes for our eyes in them, and since "rec" (a program held for kids to stay in school and do activities from 3pm to 5:30pm for the kids who's parents worked til 5) was held in the cafeteria at school, we would sneak behind into the place behind the clear vinyl curtain, and steal one cookie from each row of each type of cookie in the trays so they weren't noticed to be missing.... So we'd pretend to be raccoons and go do weird raccoon things around school, one time we snuck outside and into the pine trees around the school and they panicked looking for us.
Our favorite places to hide were behind the curtains by the light control panel on stage, under the tables in our own little forts, OR the best and most secret spot we would run off to, mostly do divvy up stolen cookies or pastries, was behind/under the folding wooden bleachers in the gym. lol we were little shits.
