He be haunting them back on the battlefield. He'll keep haunting most of them back home and reminding them of shit they've seen. Ashes and blood of the fallen, along with twisted bits of steel and remnants of gunpowder, have inseminated the earth with such a creature; and the massive amount of concentrated violence, fear, hatred, trauma and loss of life has breathed a grotesque imitation of life into this bloody, sneering carcass.
