No idea in particular what these ruins are, who used to live there, or even... if they still do... or if whatever abomination that has destroyed their civilization is still around... They want to call it the capital of the Wookash empire, but they do not know its name, for no record of such city or empire even exists.

Anyway, this planet is a graveyard for such ruined cities. Many civilizations, some of them very powerful and refined, have lived and died through the centuries. I don't know how big of an empire this particular people could've had tho. Much of their lifestyle, including the most basic things like what they fed on, is still a mystery to this day.

What's known is basically that they lived in this sort of a big ant hill, which supposedly, used to blend in perfectly with the rest of the endless mountains of this dry and inhospitable region, back when its ceiling still existed. They don't even know whether it was an artificial structure, or a natural mountain that they had carved to meet their needs. It makes explorers wonder how many of these mountains are actually cities undercover, waiting to be discovered and explored.

At any rate, this structure and its location in the barren desert of Southern Zeetia supposedly indicate the era during which this unknown civilization flourished. Due to the inhospitable climate of this region, they estimate that it existed, hidden, during the time of the earliest recorded Blood Moon. They're identified, through pottery and (supposed) burial sites, as the Wookash, a people that had been exiled from the Zeetian kingdom and banished to the South, and had to adapt to this harsh environment in order to survive. In this theory, their civilization reached its peak right as the rest of the world was terrorized by drastic demographic changes, barbarian invasions and alien life interference. They then supposedly went extinct a few centuries later, for unknown reasons.
