There's some trouble at the direct line station for the Bank of Lappridia this morning; nothing out of the ordinary tho. If there's turmoil or a total meltdown at the Galactic Stock Exchange in Palera, you wouldn't even notice; on slow days too, it still looks like people running to a nuclear shelter.
Or maybe from a fox or a slightly loud noise
Not sure you could say any of these crooks really were "played", neither were the politicians (they're included among "these crooks", duh). But the politicians had less influence on the turn of events.
So this conspiracy theory has gained a lot of traction overnight and the high power data line to the Galactic Stock Exchange is saturated. Brokers are so very confused. They don't know if they should buy, or sell. Buy, or sell? that's the only two things you're supposed to do with planetary stocks, but they have no idea what exactly is going on.
There have been leaks, and those it affects call the leaker a traitor/foreign agent while the ones it serve call him a whistleblower; business as usual, boo. It's a conspiracy theory alright, it's not like mainstream media linking fake information that a state they really want to invade has access to bio weapons, or is hacking their useless elections, that's not conspiracy theories, that's just fine. We all know fake news are only found on the internet.
And this one sounds ominously plausible. Basically corporations would've used rabbits to quickly populate foreign planets for decades, in order for the investments to be sound; but for the rest of the operation, they always intended to replace them with bigger, more powerful animals; and for decades, factions have battled in every government and corporation in a completely non-partisan, non-compete manner, even regardless of country, to determine which would be the next master-race in space. To this day, it appears only two factions are in the lead : wolves and panthers.
And here's the best part : they've TESTED IT. By accident, yes, but they did. It works. It works so very well. A century of space expansion has left stranded empires in places, and well, even tho some have gone kinda rogue you could say, many see a lot of potential there.
