Squeaker Translation: "BESAME MI AMOR"
Oops no, wrong translation..... "YOU IDIOT, TURN AROUND!"
This was one of those drawings where you just start drawing something with no direction and you just keep adding ideas randomly as you go along until suddenly you have a whole scene built up like, how did I get here?
While not the intention, the result reminds me of the scene from Cinderalla where the mice are frantically alerting Cinderalla to look behind her when the step mother locks her in the tower lol. If you hear squeaks or warning, please take caution!
This is the first time I draw a rodent. It was supposed to be a rat but it turned out looking more like a mouse. He's just a random squeaker compassionately trying to alert an aloof stranger of danger.

I wonder if the random step process could work like that for your music too jaja. But yeah I was like, what should he be leaning on? He looks hipster so how bout an alley dumpster? Ok, still kinda boring, what can add an element of surprise to the image? Oh how about a menacing claw? But he looks distracted and annoyed, but at what? Someone trying to say something? But who and what? Oh, he's in an alley, rats live in the alleys! Oops, looks like a mouse, ah close enough.... etc etc jajaja

Dude, it works! I wrote “Grab Them By The Tail” with that process, it was all random, like playing with samples, and being all like “hey, that sounds great! How would a guitar sound next?” And it went up and up until it was a song!
Dude yes! Hahaha that whole process surely was fun for you, right? Sheesh even though it was random at the beginning, this is literally amazing, a great outcome!

The process of going in without a preconceived idea other than "I want to draw" or "I want to make music" is tricky. It can either lead to something cool, or lead to nothing and make you feel bummed. But when it leads to something it's particularly satisfying, like putting puzzle pieces together and one by one they each fit perfectly. And makes you feel smart too? Jajaja

It is for sure tricky, and I think it's a great way to just let the mind flow. Either the outcome is great or not, at least you let your mind wander a little, and that's totally okay, and it's even fun! And if the outcome is great, you can totally feel the sweet achievement of it! Haha!
